Archive grade 8mm white film leader or 8mm clear film leader in polyester/mylar. ( 8mm white or clear film spacing / 8mm Weiß oder durchsichtig filmvorspann / blanc ou tranparente 8mm bande amorce / cola blanca o transparente de inicio 8mm) available in 2 color variants of white, as well as clear for animation, and 5 spool/core lengths. Clear film leader option is suitable for film student animation. (Please note that leader comes on a Super 8 reel/spool and may require an 8mm adapter plug , available in our online shop, for 8mm equipment.)

Polyester film leader may also be generally referred to as Mylar, PET, or Kodak ESTAR.

Best For: Film Preservation - Archival / Student Animation.

Can be used in 8mm projectors, however Acetate has a lower breakage point and is most gentle on delicate equipment. Polyester is our strongest and most durable film leader.
